    Third-Party Notification

If you care for a friend or relative who could overlook paying their PNM bill because of illness, financial hardship or other issues, the Third-Party Notification program can help.

With the approval of both parties, we'll notify a designated third party when a person they care is more than 30 days past due or if PNM begins disconnect procedures with the account.

Third-Party Notification does not obligate the third party to pay the customer's bill. The customer is still responsible for payment of the bill. It's just a way for our customers to keep an eye on the people they care about if they aren't in their homes on a daily basis.

The agreement can be canceled at any time by request of the customer or the third party.

If this program sounds right for you or someone you know, please let us know.
