Electric Vehicles are more practical and affordable than ever.

At PNM there are a few ways to make your EV adoption journey a little easier:

Multifamily Communities

• Rebate of $5,000 per charger port available for Multifamily properties who install EV chargers for resident use.
• Properties that meet the eligibility requirements as an Income-Qualified Community may qualify for rebates up to $10,000 per charger port.

Workplace, Fleet, & Public Charging

• Up to $5,000 per charger port for installing Level 2 chargers for workplace, fleet, & public use.
• Up to $50,000 for installing DC Fast chargers for fleet & public use.

Residential Level 2 Charger Rebates

• Up to $2,000 in rebates available for the purchase and installation of a qualified Level 2 Charger
• Income-Qualified customers can receive up to $4,250 in rebates for the purchase and installation of a qualified Level 2 Charger

Charging Rates

• Whole Home EV Rate allows customers to charge their vehicle for as low as $3.
• Commercial Charging Station rate for a separately metered service dedicated solely to EV Charging.

Ways to Stay Cool

Temperatures are rising, but there are several ways to stay cool this Summer.

Set your thermostat higher than normal and as comfortable as possible. The higher the setting the more energy you save. Use your ceiling fans to offset cooling costs.

Make sure fan blades are turning counterclockwise so air is being pushed downward.

Sealing airducts can help lower bills by lowering energy consumption. Duct air loss can take up nearly 30 percent of cooling system's energy.

Pathways to Education

Through the PNM Resources Foundation, we have awarded $425,000 to 38 New Mexico nonprofits over the summer! These community organizations reinforce the critical need of nontraditional pathways to education for learners who may be developmentally disabled, veterans, seniors, formerly incarcerated, and in need of health education.
