Joint Use Licensing Process
Application
A prospective licensee is required to make its application via the National Joint Utilities Notification System to PNM.
To apply via NJUNS:
- Go to NJUNS.com and log into the pole attachment module
- Enter attachment information
- Sumbit maps
- Submit payment for application - Apply online (njuns.com)
Application review and inspections
- PNM performs field survey and inspection - To be completed by PNM within 45 days of receipt of application
- Make-ready report sent to applicant for consideration
- If applicant accepts, based on make-ready report and contract, the work is performed - If no make-ready work is required, applicant/licensee installs attachment after receiving approval - If make-ready work is required, PNM completes make-ready work and applicant/licensee then installs attachment and submits final as-built maps
- PNM performs final inspection
